THE PAPER MILL
Melbourne's first paper mill, built on the banks of the Yarra River in 1919. Once a giant torso of urban exploration - even before its closure in 2012 - the site is now a shadow of its former self with less than a handful of asbestos-riddled buildings remaining whilst the area is developed as a new "mega suburb". Clean-up costs are estimated in the tens of millions but has not halted demolition unfortunately...
