An old, abandoned goldmine out in regional Victoria. The first shaft was sunk in 1871 and within twenty years was 400 feet deep. Fast forward to 1960, and the site had yielded over 341,000 ounces of gold. It last operated in the 1980s, by that time using cyanide to remove gold from all the tailings discarded over the years.
