CLONBINANE

Heritage-listed and largely destroyed by the 2009 Black Friday bushfires, the grand Clonbinane homestead (now demolished) was built in 1885. When I visited the walls were still standing (albeit precariously) and the tower was largely intact. It would have looked magnificent back in the day and was ripe for a photographic expedition. Some later drone work revealed hidden details and the floorplan, since the roof had long gone by then.

The original wooden Clonbinane township bridge was also nearby the homestead and so was captured during this explore.
