Located a few hours drive from Melbourne, this old factory made one of Australia’s best known breakfast cereals.

 

Prior to its recent re-development, the factory been left in an abandoned state for over twenty years; by the time I reached there, it was sadly devoid of industrial equipment. Still, the old Diesel engines remained in the basement (in near-mint condition) and there were some period and art deco details amongst the graffiti and decay that were definitely worth a look...
