Based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, ALESSANDRO SERVADEI works by day in IT but in his spare time is an enthusiastic photographer, drone pilot and composer of film music.

Filming the unusual is in the blood; Alessandro’s father would strap his Super 8 camera to vehicles and boats to get a unique perspective, decades before the GoPro made it fashionable; his brother took to photographing decay in his early teens and retains a keen interest in urban exploration to this day. So taking a step towards filming the darker side of his home city seemed only natural.

And whether its ascending the heights of factories and silos, or descending into the murky depths of the stormwater drain system underneath, Alessandro takes his trusty Canon DSLR, iPhone, GoPro and DJI drone anywhere and everywhere there is an opportunity for a unique shot.
